I think your points here are enlightening as well - it's interesting because my manager was the one who suggested I look into software architecture, and I'm sure he'd also agree people don't become experts at it right away :)

Cool. Glad to help. As for architecture, I’d encourage you (and others) to start looking into it and maybe doing some courses — there’s nothing wrong with that. I guess my point is that it’ll make a lot more sense when you’ve got a few years of hands-on development and real-world delivery experience under your belt.
